Let's Try Again

Hello.......hello?    Tap. Tap. Tap.   Is anyone there?  

I doubt it.   After all,  I haven't been here.   

Today is January 1, 2019.  Roughly 4 years ago I started another blog.  And then I didn't.  

I find blogging hard.  I'm not as wildly entertaining as I'd like to think that I am.  

Also, I don't have a theme....or a gimmick....or something to sell.   That's what blogging seems to be nowadays.  A way to promote one's self.   

No promotions here.  I just have a lot on my mind and I really want to just say it all. All  of it!

But now that I am retired, I have no one really to say it to.   

Well, except for two aging Shih Tzus.  

And my husband.  

Who barely pays attention to me anyways.   

Chances are that will be the same with this blog.  

But, at least, I will have said it.   

A Little Rain Will Come........

It is raining today in Arizona.  Well, actually, it is raining in the Phoenix area and it is snowing up north.   This is big, or I should say, BIG NEWS.   Rain is a rarity like spotting a blue whale....or a unicorn.  Rain is a reason to stay home from school.    

There are a number that you can bank on when it rains in Arizona.   People will drive crappy, there will be dozens of Instagram photos to record this rare event, and the local Fry's supermarket will wheel out the umbrella cart.  

 

 

Because, at the first sign of a light drizzle, they know there will be an instant demand for umbrellas.  My guess is that it is not because people don't have one but because they cannot remember where they put the last umbrella they bought.....the last time it rained.   Well, that's what I tell myself since I have at least four of these little suckers stored away in various spots throughout my house. 

 

Don't ask me where though......I really couldn't tell you.
